Paul & Shark is a luxury Italian clothing brand founded in 1975 by Paolo Dini, son of mill owner Gian Ludovico Dini.

The brand was inspired by the sail of an 18th-century clipper inscribed with the words "Paul & Shark" seen during Dini's visit to a small sailmaker's workshop in Maine. In 2017, GQ called it "the sailing man's sailing gear". It is so much more than that today. The yachting collection dates back to the mid-1970s, when Paul&Shark entered the luxury sportswear sector with a collection inspired by the sea, the world of sailing and the spirit of adventure.

Over the years the company has expanded to become a comprehensive smart casual and luxury sportswear brand, famous for the quality of its garnments, appreciated by fans of Italian design and high-performance technical materials, many of which have been patented by Paul&Shark.
